The Friends of the Newark Public Library held its annual meeting on Wednesday, December 12 at 6 pm in Centennial Hall.

Newark native and fashion designer Tamil Robinson, creative director of the TRG/Tamil Robinson Group was the headline. Robinson creates both fashion and his own textile art through his company, the AMIAT (All Moods in All Textiles) Group which focuses on the design, sourcing, production and exporting of fabrics for a range of apparel and accessories as well as home furnishings and textiles. During the course of the evening, Robinson discussed his work and demonstrated his air-brush on clothing technique.
